WCG supports healthy neighborhood centric living through low impact, organic community gardening.
We seek to enhance the health and beauty of our city through establishing a community garden. Whitefish Community Garden on Wisconsin Avenue is the product of this effort. We believe healthy living starts in the neighborhood. A community garden is not just a place to grow healthy food. Neighbors gather to work and relax and learn. Community gardens promote self sufficiency and a low impact lifestyle. We provide food to North Valley Food Bank, we support local youth volunteerism and education, and we are available to support other community gardens.
Whitefish Community Garden provides raised bed gardens for individuals and families to cultivate organic vegetables. The garden also provides organic foods to the local food bank.
Whitefish Community Garden seeks to enhance the health and beauty of our city by providing raised bed gardens in a beautiful, fenced garden on the grounds of Whitefish United Methodist Church. Missions include promotion of environmentally sustainable organic gardening through use of raised beds with low top soil content; onsite, neighborhood composting program; donations to North Valley Food Bank; youth volunteerism and education; preservation of urban open space; establishing a living repository of heirloom plants, and fostering new and existing friendships.
Whitefish Community Garden is focused on improving our community by offering raised bed gardens to families and individuals, supplying organic foods to the local food bank, and creating a beautiful open space.

Objectives:
